Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. and Francois Levy, a renowned CAD/BIM consultant and trainer, will jointly arrange a series of webinars that will be held in three parts to highlight the importance of BIM (Building Information Modeling) for small- to medium-sized architecture firms.
The first part includes the advantages and best practices of applying Building Information Modeling in Architectural Design. It is scheduled to start on March 9 at 2:00 p.m. EST (7:00 p.m. GMT). BIM or Building Information Modeling is an integrated part of today’s world. It has become more and more powerful day by day with the advancement of technology. The continuous improvement helps the AEC industry to get success in various projects. The easy solution of the complex procedure is extracted by the new advance BIM technology.

But can we say BIM a technology? According to the definition it is called a process. Technology is only part of the process. It is critical to always be viewing the success of technology just as much by the people and processes you put around a solution as the solution itself. As the process of Building Information Modeling it is the software which always supports the process. In other words, you can invest in all the technology you can afford but if the people within your organization are not on board and the appropriate processes have not been established, then don’t expect to see the proper return on investment.

The initial set up will greatly reduce the timeline to a successful implementation. And that is not possible without the help of great stuff power. That’s why you can say that BIM is not a technology along, it is a technology integrated process
